my eventful night.

I went to the Rush concert, which was amazing, by the way. (Neil Peart's drum solo was orgasmic). So it was me, my 2 buddies, and my little brother. We had a case of beer, some good weed and mushrooms. Everybody ate mushrooms except me.

So we get to the concert (my friends and brother trippin balls) and we crack open the trunk and start drinkin some beers. Not even 15 minutes later, the cops fuckin come and say they saw us and asked us our age and shit (nobody over 21 and my brother is 16). Long story short, they found the cooler with the case in it, and both my friends weed. I had weed in my purse, and some mushrooms in my dash, but they didn't find them. They pat us down, take our names and handcuff our asses and put us in the back of the cop car (in front of the whole parking lot section.. really embarrassing).

They took us to the station, and put my 2 friends in a holding cell, me by myself in a holding cell, and my brother to another one. We were in there for about an hour, and I'm freakin out wondering where my brother is and if he's okay, and wondering if i'm missing the damn concert.

They finally let all of us out except my brother, and my parents had to come to the concert (hour and 45 minute drive) and release him. We met up with him in the concert and enjoyed the rest of the awesome show.


I am facing underage charges though, as are my friends plus disorderly conduct charges for the marijuana. Shit, I can't seem to stay out of trouble

So here I am now, just got high which feels awesome because we only smoked before we left to the concert, and the rest of the time i was god damn sober, and I'm just tryin to make sense of this crazyness. haha

 

Hahaha, sounds like a fun night, how much of the show did you miss?

 

To bad.. STAR LAKE IS A TRAP!!! fuck that place. Hanover police only had two fucking cops on duty years ago.. Now that Star Lake keeps all the bills paid for them they have more cops. I honestly dont even bother to go there anymore.

 

That's the thing. As soon as we got out, we got our tickets and went into the concert.. JUST as Rush came on stage and stared playing Limelight (one of my favorite songs)

My brother had to stay in the holding cell longer though, untli my parents came, but he only missed the first half of the show.


@Orison: I really really like Post Gazette Pavilion. I never had any trouble before drinking in the parking lot and stuff.. and we even smoked in the parking lot MANY times. This is the first concert I've been to at the pavilion when they had soo many cops.

yeah i tought I was the only one but, I wasnt going to call him out on it. cause I think it was past his sleepy time. and he didnt even catch that part.. you should know Nate by now.. lol.

 

did your parents care any about your brother? how as his trip in the cell?

That is what I am saying, how was getting arrested while tripping? That sucks, but at least you still made it to the show.

 

The only thing my parents cared about was driving an hour and 45 minutes to come get his ass out of jail haha. my dad said to my brother "you need your ass beat.. not for drinking.. but for getting caught" and my mom didn't really say much, they weren't all that mad.. it was his first time getting in trouble.


he said his trip was fuckin crazy in the cell. he said he kept staring at the floor and it looked all 3d and wavy. he said it was pretty cool, and the whole time i was worried about him! all i could think about was if my bro is ok and i thought he'd be freakin out and shit.. but he was fine.

 

Hahaha, it sounded like a fun night, because all that happened and she didn't miss the show.

 

It was a really fun night. The only part that wasn't fun was sitting in the holding cell thinking I was missing the Rush concert.

my buddy saw rush at red rocks last week. he said it was an absolute face melter. Hope yours was the same

 

Am I the only one who just really doesn't like Rush?
Maybe stoned, but I stopped listening to them before I started smoking.

It was the best show i've ever been to.
they never cease to amaze me.. their show was so entertaining.

 

hope was eppic song live, same with working man.

alot of stuff from there new album, was hoping to see some old shit, oh well.
