So my dealer in Atlanta is kind of an asshole. I mean whenever I call him to discuss when he can sell he always sounds totally pissed off and does not want to talk to me. I had been calling him for the past 3 or 4 days to see when the next time he could sell was (and of course I wasn't saying things like, "hey dealer, when can you sell me some more pot? ") and every time I would call he'd always just mumble some other time for me to call him (which would usually either be later that day or the next day) and whenever I would call back he'd pick up the phone and sound like I was the last person he wanted to be talking to/ he'd always forget who I was, where I went to school, and who gave me his number.

So I called him back yesterday at like 7:30 pm and after many "call-backs" that he made me go through, he finally set up a time, 10:30pm, which he later changed (when I was already halfway there) to midnight. During the phonecall I made to confirm I was on my way (when the 10:30 time was scheduled), he kind of yelled at me for no reason saying that "for the record", I should always just pick up the phone and say "hey man, when are we meeting up?" instead of what I said, which was something like "hey it's me again. I just wanted to let you know I'm on my way to your place now." So I went to the grocery store and just kind of hung out until I could go back at midnight.

So after waiting about an hour and a half, I set off again to his apartment. This time I finally get to the front gate of his "neighborhood" and of course since it's like midnight the gate is closed and you need a keycard to enter. So I called him about 5 times in the 15 minutes of me just waiting by the front gate. He didn't pick the phone up once, so I just took a risk and went in behind someone else. Luckily the gate was a little on the slow side so I made it in. I parked the car and called him another 3 times with no answer. It's like 12:30 now so I just get out of the car, walk to his door, and knock. He opens the door and just stands there, really really pissed at me. He said that he was sorry he missed my calls, but that I should NEVER just walk to his door without him giving me permission. I told him I was sorry, he sold me a quarter, then I just left without saying anything to him or any of the junkies in his apartment.

So I really don't understand. Wouldn't dealers like having people buy from them? I mean isn't that a good thing? I mean my dealer in Chicago is really friendly. It just makes the buying experience so much better. This guy was really rude to me, he led me around in circles, and he kind of put me in a bad mood last night. I wish there were more dealers in Atlanta, then I'd switch in a heartbeat.

    So guys is this normal???

For pure reference, he charges $100 a quarter, which is pretty good for what I pay in Chicago, but I'd rather pay $120 and buy from someone who actually wants my business.

    that sounds totally fucked dude

i knew a guy like that, but he wasn't even a dealer, he was just a runner, and he wouldn't let us come to his apartment without calling first, and he wouldn't let more than 2 of us in his apartment after a certain time(like 6pm), which was fucked, he's like 'the neighbors are gunna know that you're here to get high' and i'm like 'wtf dude, you're 19, we're all 15-16-17, we could just be here to chill' (and alot of the time we were only there to chill)

it was wierd, but we found a guy that was direct so we didn't have to go to a runners anymore and we gradually stopped hangin out with this guy

He sounds like a twat to me....
My dealer is great. good price, good size, and for an extra £1 he delivers.
Which saves me money of getting a bus.

But yeah he does sound like a wanker. Try and find a new dealer if he is that shit.

I have a guy that does that to me sometimes. Other times he comes through beautifully, and other times he just doesn't do anything. Like one time me and a friend walked down there a week before and placed an order for an O of some Kush, he said it would be around $320, so I was like, then could we get 2 Os? Because between the three of us, we had $680. He was like yeh, man, I can hook you up with that. So I call him three days later and ask if everything is iight and he said yeh, and to call him on Saturday, and we would set a time. I called him at 12 on Saturday, no one answered. I called about 7 or 8 more times periodicly through 5, no answers any of the times. So then I just start getting pissed and pretty much called every 5 minutes for about 30 minutes, until his mom picked up and screamed in the phone that he wasn't here. I asked where he was politely and she said it was none of my business. So I think he was there, but just didn't have the shit, and didn't wanna talk to me. That shit is fucked up.

the way I think of it, is if hes being a dick then TAKE A HINT!
Im not saying anything bad about you, but it sounded like he just didnt want to deal with ya. Some dealers are just moody I guess.
At least you got the weed tho :)

I really doubt that he just didn't want to deal with me. He deals to two highschools in the area and I graduated from one of them, so it's not like I just randomly appeared from someone who gave me his number.

Even so, it's money. If he didn't really like me, he wouldnt be mean to me, he just wouldn't be overly nice because I don't know who wouldn't want business. It's more money for him.

    I mean right?

I've definitely had some experience with paranoid, asshole, "I'm doing you a huge favor," walking on eggshells type dealers. It sucks, I would just kiss his ass until you find someone else and then ditch him. Just keep searching, and hopefully, eventually, you can find a nice guy or, even better, a friend, who sells, and then you'll be all set :) You're right that the whole experience is just unpleasant when all of those paranoid vibes are sent out.

We wouldnt have this issue if the government would legalize it,
    tax it,
    let liquor stores sell it.

Then, if the guy at the liquor store was an asshole,
You could say "Fuck You Asshole, Im going elsewhere*

    Yeah, in my dreams.

I've been trying to pick up from this one guy for 3 weeks now. I know his wife and she says he can do it, but everytime I call him he tells me it's going to be a while. I'm tempted to go elsewhere but this guy can get me a QP of dank for ~$700. I'm running low right now and I'm almost down to shake. I'm getting a little aggravated so I think I'm going to ask his wife to talk to him for me. I'm 18 while he's 40 so it is a bit awkward talking to him b/c I feel like an ass pressuring him. I think more than anything he's worried about me being the stereotypical little whiteboy biatch and getting caught then ratting him out, so that's why I think it's best to have his wife explain the situation to him.

The one place I've consistently been able to find a lot of good dealers is labor intensive jobs. Get a job where there is a lot of physical labor, and chances are at least half of the workers smoke weed. If they don't sell it themselves, they buy it off other people, so just ask them for a hookup after you have worked there for a few weeks. You can usually spot the stoners, and weed usually works its way into conversations you have, which makes it easier to ask, because they were the ones who brought it up.

You get what you pay for.

I mean personally I would doubt the quality of a quarter sold at anything less than $85 ($85 being mids).

Grow it yourself, that way you will be sure. You can also grow skunk, and nobody to pick it up from and all that.
You can do it in your garden or yard, or in the ceiller with good lamps.
    In Danmark its free.
I never gave more than 4 dollars for a week supply.
You have to be in the heroin thing, before dealing with assholes.
With weeds thats easy. Once a guy gave me 3 kilo weeds just like that, he wasnt going to use it anyway, and another one gave me a big bucket of dried weed, he said instead of flowers.
That was some good flower powers i got there and for a very very long time.

I used it mostly at parties, for the guests, they just couldnt stop.
I had a big bocal filled with it, open on the table, and it was like free to take as much you can smoke.

The way dealers are in the us, maybe thats a good reason to quit smoking unless you want a real bad trip each time.
Here the workers dont use weed they sniff coke. All handworkers in all the building industry sniff coke. They smoke too, but its just as an alternative when they dont have the other one.
I never tried coke, with so many assholes on it, I am scared it could make me normal.

    Dude... $100 for a quarter!?!

Thats fuckin pricey man. I pay between 50-70$ for a quarter-ounce, and its really nice buds too. If hes that much of an asshole, and he charges that much for weed, I'd look elsewhere man. Unless its some mad dank white widow, or some kind of top-of-the-line shit.

But yeah, when I was in highschool, and I first started smoking pot (freshman year), thats how ALL the dealers were. It was mad shitty, but looking back I guess it was understandable since I was only 13-14. Since I've been in NY, I've had the same dealer since day 1, and hes a mad cool guy, and he sells nice bags of nice shit too.
