It's eleven o'clock at night and he's mowing the lawn. He's a freak...and obsessed over the appearance of our yard...I swear he mows it everyother day...and it's not like a whole lot of people see our yard, we live out in the middle of nowhere...
is he wearing speedos, wearing a beer hat and roller blades and is he 71? if not, he's got nothing on my dad and is therefore not a freak.
Everyone needs a hobby. I don't believe in mowing lawns... maybe once every 6 months or so... I like living in the bush.
Our nearest neighbor is a half of a mile away... He's wearing short cut off jean shorts and a tank top with his beer belly hanging out...however, he is only 51...
well than you've clearly done your job well i've successfully driven my father insane as well be proud in yourself annie!!
Lol. So funny. My landlord is obsessed with his (our) yards. We rented their home in the fall, when all the hanging potted flowers were dying. Then, there's feet of snow covering the grass for 8 months. Now that it's spring, they're at our house at least once a week, mowing, raking, preening, and mostly bitching. Lol. Birds get into our trash bags and get trash all over the yard, and the landlord freaks out...well, mostly his wife. "THIS IS MYYYYY HOUUUUSE!" It's nice that we don't have to do any yardwork, but we have to worry about our landlords showing up unannounced to do work.
i used to sometimes mow my parents' lawn at night, though not as late as 11. once the mower's headlights burned out, they were too cheap to replace them and it was impossible to acurately mow in the dark (the results were pretty funny the few times me or my dad tried)
my father looks like a roman god all golden skinned and blue eyed...wearing hawaiian shirts and jams...sporting his beard and ponytail...hes obsessed with his garden lol...in between teaching GED lol
He sounds like a perfectionist He's trying to make up for some personal inadequacy by focusing his attention on the lawn :H Hotwater
My husband is a bit obsessive about our lawn. Which was the major reason why I had to beg and beg him to put the pool up for the kids this year. I told him that I would help him replant grass there when we take it down so he doesn't have this huge crop circle in his lawn. *coughs* He and I both know that's not going to happen, he'll want to do it himself because he'll want it just-so. We have neighbors coming over and gushing to my husband how great our lawn is, what do we do to it, yadda, yadda, yadda. I just don't see it. I mean it looks good yes, but to have these grown men going ga-ga over how nice the lawn looks...*shrugs* I honestly could care less about the lawn.
my mum used to garden up until midnight some nights in spring, expecially during a full moon. I loved going out and joining her just keeping her company. Its all good.
That's nothing. A neighbour of mine mows the lawn almost all the time... And once he watered it while it was raining...
