I was thinking of writting a book, to put all this knowledge to good use lol. This is how it goes. The book will start on the Black sea, along the Danube, Don and Dnieper rivers, and will go through a family line all the way to the United States. It will be the fictional account of my family, from their Danubian beginnings, through their migrations, thru the Alps, into Gaul and across to britain. another side will cover another family from the Don/Dnieper rivers leave much later later, by ship, and go down the Black Sea into the Mediteranian, down through Egypt and then to Spain, where they settle, and some go over to the mystical isle across the way. These are the Milesians, who invade Ireland. The story comes together when, later, one family is forced to migrate to America, and the other family comes over on their own, and will end with a man meeting a woman, each from the other family. What do ya think? Each chapter will be another generation, or area, so it wont get too long and drawn out with detail, and the story will cover 20,000 years. It will start in the Ice Age, and cover the Black Sea deluge, and end in the 1800's in the US.
Sounds like it'll be good. If your gonna do it over such a large time period though it might be eaiser to do it as 2 or 3 books rather than one huge one. Depends how much detail its gonna have I guess
awesome sounds like it would be great to read, but might be a bit hard to get down on paper. sounds like u have it mapped out in your mind though so all i can say is go for it!
Sounds great. Theres not enough historical (pagan) fiction. Just don't get it published by something like Lewellyn lol.
Lewellyn? GOD NO! That is why i want to get my PhD. in anthropology, to keep my oneday non-fiction books out of new age and in philosophy
That sounds really interesting Heron, good luck with the writting. I know how hard if is for me to write a book. I'm one of those people who love starting new projects...but get bored and move on really quickly. Once again it sounds like a fancinating read and my best wishes and all the luck I can spare you in writting it.
I would love to read your book. I think you are so well spoken and would love to hear your history rendered in that way. Get busy!
