Recently i have some urges towards my best female friend. I find her incredibly attractive but only in a sexual way. When it comes to sex she is really shy despite being a sly fox in reality. Furthermore she has a boyfriend but when she gets drunk she always wanna dance with me but not your ordinary dance. I tried to hook up with my best friend once. All the way back in high school. We were, like, the closest (still are). Finishing each other's sentences, talking for hours and hours on end about the most mundane of things, closer than sisters or lovers. So it only made sense to progress, right? Yeah, no. We suddenly didn't know how to talk to each other. We were nervous and even avoiding each other because of it. If we were together, we had to have a third person in the room to be some kind of liaison between each other. After 3-4 days of this nonsense we "broke up" and immediately went back to debating the subtleties of the previous night's Seinfeld episode.

I think I'll always be attracted to my female best friend, but she and I both know we're better off just staying best friends. I love the term female 'friend'. I have many long term female friends who I have met through work and my love of opera. But I have never slept with any of them. LOL.
