I've realli got back into painting and things lately and am realli happy about it. This is where I'll put photos of the things I'm doing I have been working towards an exhibition and have a small one on at the moment but want to get a big shiny one together by the end of summer. Luxiebow- I have to tell you you have some artistic skills All of these pieces are incredible, My fav is the 'heart in a box' I really like how you made it look grudgey and the frame i like Good job!
I really do like the frame in Heart in a Box. The heart's impressive, too. The picture overall doesn't connect with me though. "Whatever love means" is amazing, however. Sad, but amazing. I love the way the main picture is framed, with all the colors and different things going on. It communicates to me the multitude of emotion that love (especially during trying times) gives. The way his body shies away a little gives the picture a nice aesthetic as well as communicates that the relationship in the picture is in peril (if not already doomed). I do wish I could see her look better, though.
