straight on it just looks like stripes (you can see from around my neck) but at an angle, alien heads appear! There's six heads on the whole scarf... I'm going to add fringe tomorrow with the yarn that's left.

    :) I'm sure they'll like it! :)

I'm not really a sci-fi geek type, but (as much as I hate to admit it) at one point in my life I was kind of into aliens and addicted to watching X-Files and such....

ain't it just cool? I think I've figured out how this whole illusion-knitting thing works, I'm going to have to get crackin on my own patterns to make some other scarves for the folks in my circle who need knits!

I'm the same way.... I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to either new yarns or new pattern books... But I only buy one book at a time, and promise myself I won't buy another until I've made a minimum of 3 patters of the current book.... that way I know that I've at least used it a little...

    thanks so much! :sabres:

:saucer: I'm quite happy as to how it turned out... everyone that I've shown it to thinks it's very cool. This whole illusion knitting is just a fantastic idea; I think I have it figured out how to do it. :alien:

My next illusion scarf that I'd like to make (which won't be any time soon, but I do want to make it) is one with Chevy symbols on it for my husband.... and if it's at all possible, make illusion cables on another scarf, which would look steller if it turns out.
