thease suckers are a wicked snack food, goes great with beer. you need 6 eggs- 1/2tsp mustard powder 1 1/2 tsp corn starch 1tsp sugar 1/2 tsp ground tumeric 1tsp salt 2 cups apple cider vinegar 1-2 canning jars -hard boil the eggs and remove shell -mix the spices and vinegar in pot and bring to boil fro 3 minutes -put the eggs and vinegar into the jar. then leave it in the fridge for at at least couple days before eating any --- incase your at a complete loss of how to boil eggs hard. start wiht cold water and eggs and bring it to boil. boil for 7 minutes, then drain the water and let the eggs cool
Oh dear God, I hate pickled eggs, and I HATE mustard. Whoever thought to combine the two is an absolute moron.
I put mustard on regular pickeld eggs long before i found the recipe, so I guess im a complete moron. ---- oh, you can make a really good egg salad with thoes pickled eggs. use one pickled egg, with 3 regular eggs. I mix in dill pickes, celery,green onion, black pepper miraicle whip, and... um.. more mustard
I find that the best way to hard boil eggs is to carefully place them (at room temp) in a pot (one layer only) and cover with room temp water then bring to a boil for a minute and turn it off,cover the pot and let it sit for 13 minutes then put it in the sink and pour cold water in the pot ...let sit for 10 minutes peel them in the water ...start by cracking and peeling the larger end ..its always easier that way
