our school puts on a musical every year this year it happens to feature guitar. So my teacher as well as the music teacher asked me if I would play. I said probley if I knew what kind of music I had to play. But they only told me it's a disney musical and the guitar playing would be rockish. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
tell your teacher that you want to know what it is before you do anything, or you wont do it. and i have no clue what it is, sorry.
well, it's not for another five months. So she'll announce it probley a month or two before auditions.but she just wanted to know if I could read musi, cuse they need a guitar player that can or I guess they can't do it.
Maybe Aida? It was produced by Disney, and written by Elton John and Tim Rice (they did The Lion King). I can send you some songs, if you'd like, so you could get a feel for it.
we looked that one up already. There's rockish music in it. Infact, the score does'nt even call for guitar.

go for it. ive played keyboard for many musicals with my high school, and it was always fun. it was cool working with other people in a (orchestra) pit, and putting the show together and performing it. i mean, ive always hated all the music i played (except Godspell, i like that show), but its one of those things you complain about, and you get the songs stuck in your head and wanna cry, but its always fun. i dunno, and if its disney, itll prolly be cool. i mena, once agian, i dont like disney,but okay. im sounding really fucking stoned. (i prolly am) but my poitn in general is: GO FOR IT!!
