Was just looking for some suggestions of some new bands to listen too, kinda getting bored with my 650+songs in itunes . I like alot of ska/rock/reggae type stuff (Slightly stoopid, Sublime, some mainstream rock stuff), and acoustic jam stuff.. some raps okay, old school stuff like B.I.G., Tupac, snoop... What do you guy's suggest?
I use to love lil wayne, but my old friends use to play that shit 24/7 with his sub, now I can't stand to listen to more than a few songs, shoulder lean, where da cash at, nigga wit money, and.. feel like dying. Thats about it for lil weezy
pepper is good if you like the dub ska type stuff, one of my favorite bands while high is explosions in the sky
Thanks for the suggestions! I'm gonna write them down. As for pepper, they're not bad but they just don't capture me quite the same as other ska/dub bands.. Long Beach Dub allstars were great too..
the only rock bands i listen to are sublime, disturbed, and the offspring. but those are pretty mainstream...
listen to The Dandy Warhol's. they're from a little town called Portland, Oregon and listen to Incubus. they're pretty much my modern day led zeppelin. and I know you listen to Jimi Hendrix. and The Doors. and listen to Public Enemy
Mindless Self Indulgence get the album or download the songs or whatever from "you'll rebel to anything" also the new Nine Inch Nails album " Year Zero" is really good.
Yeah I love the gorillaz, modest mouse, Jimi.. all of them are great Btw thanks again mountainmike, Micheal Franti is awesome. Gonna check out Oar too.
If you like hiphop check out the pharcyde, tribe called quest, cunninlynguists, krs-one, the roots, and gangstarr
