Anyone else love watching the music visualizations that media players create with them plugins.. random ones that are always built in that generally no one really uses, but act like a movie when trippin balls on lsd! fun stuff, and never gets boring! I look forward to the next time :sunny:
I like milkdrop visualizer in particular, I recently got an app on my phone which is a touch sensitive visualizer program. It's more limited in the patterns it produces compared to milkdrop but I think being able to touch the screen while listening to music could provide some interesting interactive, synesthetic sensations while tripping. I'd probably want to aquire an hdmi conncetor to hook it up to a tv though.
Check out an app called ethereal dialpad if you can find it. Sort of a similar idea but with an audio component.
I think I had that at one point. It's like an interactive synthesizer? It was decent but I'm thinking more of something to just noodle around with while I got some music going on while Tripping. I tend to overanalyze my own playing while tripping, even with something like that and probably opt for a guitar or FLstudio if I want to actually play/compose music but some of those digital synths and apps are kinda cool. I have the demo edition of a visualization program called Awesome, starts off with a simple pattern and then you touch it and it follows your finger and expands, multiplies, slows, warps, etc. the patterns.
Yeah I never really thought of it as something to create music with, but something about combining the tactile, audio, and visual aspects of the thing while tripping was very appealing.
Yea those visualizers are pretty cool. But once your to a certain point in your trip, you can just close your eyes and see the same thing.
