I'm so into personalities, though. My favorite bands always have an intense or strange personality behind them. I like real oddballs like Danzig, for instance. What really gets me going is when there is some crazy person on vocals who is totally unrepentant of his/her ways.

I'm the opposite, thought as I get older id be into slower music, but it just gives me the shits and I will turn back to metal.

As for growling, not being able to understand what they are saying, not like one can understand most of the words im most pop songs unless you look them up. I dont think its that important

What do mean by get anywhere? Like mainstream radio in the US? Lots of bands sell tons of music and if you go to one of the big metal festivals in Europe they’ll be packed with 10’s of thousands of metal heads.

These guys formed in 2011. Really early 2012. They should be extremely popular on Hip Forums, because the singer typically performs barefoot.

 

This band just formed in 2015. Their singer has one of my favorite voices. Simply beautiful.

 

Hick Hop by far, country rap.
