Has anyone ever full on heard music in their head?
Not like anything subtle either, I mean full on heard music that was only in your head.
Was sorta blacking out I suppose you'd call it a week or so ago on oxycodone and a couple beers, and could vividly hear music in my head. Had never had anything like that happen before. Especially for it to be so clear...like a record was playing in my brain.
Also, it wasn't anything I could recognize as something I'd heard before.

yeah. my friend said im gonna make a song and i leaned my head back into his hallway, and like this song repeating his name over and over again in orchestra type fashion lol.

or i would roll my mouse over words and they sound out in my head(no headphones, no speakers)

yeah this has happened for me. for me, the songs are most of the time songs i've never heard before, like i made them. this has happened when drunk and high and usually when i wake up.

are they original songs for you? or are they songs you know?

I've had a saxophone playing in my head for the last five minutes. It took me a while to figure out it was 'walk on the wild side' by Lou Reed. lol

If you have original music playing in your head, you should learn to write it down and maybe you can make some money with it.

This has happened to me a few times. It's never really loud though, kinda just faint.

First time I heard music, sounded kinda fast maybe punkish. I couldn't make out the words. I have one neighbor that lives above me so I just passed it off as him being up late. Next day found out he had been outta town.

Since then, happens just randomnly. Never can make out the words and they're songs I definitely don't know.

    Wonder what causes this?

My guess is it's the keebler elves rockin out in my earhole. That's what I'm hoping anyway.:)

Oh yes, this has happened to me many many times thru the years and still does, I have heard full bands playing, every instrument clear and loud as were the voices and stacked harmonies. I have also managed to scarf a few of them and turn them into songs that my band now plays! I consider them a gift, but from where I really wonder?....;-)

Yes, but never sober. Mostly when I'm just good and baked. Sometimes I'll swear I can hear a song loud and clear, then realize it's just some idle electrical humming from an A.C. or fan or something.

YES. This happens everytime I get really high. I vividely hear music.. Depends on how much I smoke, but thats how I measure my 'weed plateaus.' lol I know there is no such thing, but I get really REALLY fucked up when I smoke.. And like I really couldn't not say something fucking retarded if I was with my mom.. Like if she was yelling at me I would say something like "Music gummy bears mom. Music gummy bears." When I really meant to say dinner was good. But yes when I am just kinda high 'first Plateau' Hehe, I hear music that is already made, Like I will hear metallica playing enter sandman perfectly. Then on the 'second plateau' I will hear weird just WEIRD music that my brain is making up. This morning when I just woke up this happened. I could hear a choir, I could hear gospel music, techno, rock, crazy awesome guitar solos.. Mix symphony with techno.. It happens you just gotta go a few tokes over the line:cool:

Recently I've been taking an advanced course in music theory. Ever since then, high or not, I'll have songs I know playing vividly in my head. Like when I was driving back from my psychiatrist appointment I heard AC/DC's TNT loud and clear, almost as if it was coming from outside of my head. Very cool stuff.

I've heard stories of people who claim that after they had a filling put in one of their teeth that they can pick up radio stations/transmissions,and when the filling was removed or fell out they could'nt here them anymore.I don't know if it's possible for a filling to act like some kind or receiver, but it's an interesting theory.

You may be the victim of someone who possesses mental telepathy and is able to use that ability to project music into your head via the musical library he/she has stored in the hippocampus [IMG]
