Murderer on mushrooms pleads guilty

I am not sure if you guys saw this story earlier this year about a guy who was supposedly on mushrooms when he flipped out and cut his buddy's heart and tongue out.... was writing poetry on the walls with his blood and may have eaten some of him as well depending on where you get your news.

First and foremost I think there is no way he was on mushrooms alone.... probably meth or bath salts coupled with the fact he was a MMA douche. Either way this is definitely a fucked up situation and gives mushrooms a bad name.

 

Fuck man.. if it was mushrooms alone it must have been a pretty hefty dose, but good luck trying to move on that shit.. let alone find a knife, know what it's for, return to his buddy, locate his heart and proceed cut it out and eat some of it...

I would have taken a step, forgotten everything and then probably have gawked aimlessly at my shoe or some other inanimate object.

I smell bullSHIT. Or 1/300th of the real story.

 

Same .. . I call bullshit. Certainly it wasn't psilocybe based shrooms. Although Amanita has a reputation for inducing potential violence, I still doubt that as well. Even the bath salts stories are fading in reality. Several alleged bath salt attacks have been proven false. What ever he was on, it didn't come from nature.

 

meh, i think it's probably likely that the guy was unstable and probably going to snap eventually anyway, and the mushrooms just brought it out.

 

Yeah, why doubt that he was on more than shrooms. Any unstable fucker could flip on them. Just because shrooms was the only thing he was on doesn't mean it is the sole reason or fault he did go crazy on a fellow human. He most likely had some mental issues.

Second that. Shrooms can definitely cause a psychotic break. I'm pretty sure all psychedelics can, but only if the person is mentally susceptible to that kind of thing. I've seen it happen, and once a person gets out of control there's really no saying what they'll do.

 

he was probably also using the mushroom thing to try to get off easier in court. temporary insanity kind of thing.

though, it does sound like he had a psychotic break on mushrooms and went crazy and killed his friend. definitely some underlying issues there.

 

Mushrooms and other psys definitely can cause psychotic breaks, sometimes even in "normal people, so in people whose minds are already on edge, rattling the cage, so to speak, with psychedelic drugs isn't always the best idea.

No matter what though, psys make you go crazy and have strange delusions, it's just a question of how you handle them. I konw a guy who jacked off on the bus on several hits od good acid. Man that's not like killing somebody but some of those delusions can make you do some strange stuff and with the combination of delusions and preexisting psychosis, it can get pretty bad.

At the end of the day, though, its a question of how people handle these delusions.

Also, I'm pretty sure if shrooms cause any delusion to "normal" people its more the fear of being killed than the need to kill somebody. I doubt that could be unlocked unless it was already there.

Anyone remember Big Lurch, the PCP demon lung eater, running naked through the streets?

 

Unfortunately it's these type of stories that the media latches onto as an example of the psychedelic scene. The guy was clearly nuts anyway, never in all of my trips have I thought "hmmm I should write some poetry with my friend's blood".

 

Some people just use their own body fluids for these purposes

No, I am fairly certain that the evil mushrooms hopped into this guy's throat and battled their way down to his stomach. He tried to throw them up, but the SHROOMS didn't let him! They brewed inside, letting out an evil cackle for they would next unleash their evil plans on an unsuspecting "friend". Muahahahahahaha!

 

This maybe the most disturbing and bullshit story i'd ever heard. His lawer is probably going for temporary insanity. anytime you hear about shrooms in the media, its ALWAYS giving it a very bad name, now this!? I know its now october and this story maybe old but sure is new to me

 

I wonder if his poetry was any good..
