mum's with young ones, shower routine??

I have a 1 1/2 yr old & 7 month old...

I usuaully take a shower when they go down for a nap in the am
but I'd rather be napping along with them!

when do you guys manage to squeeze a shower in?

(sigh, I remember times of long un-interrupted showers...)

 

Are you a single mommy? I don't see how single mommies ever bathe. I just hand my little man off to his dad every couple days and take a quick shower. He's at that age where he has bad separation anxiety from me so I have about 5 minutes to shower before he starts crying hysterically and my boyfriend freaks out.

I gave up showering in the morning because my boyfriend leaves the house at 6 am. I just take night showers now.

 

I take my shower while she's sleeping; when she wad toddling around I'd put her in her playpen with a movie on and a couple of toys and take a 5 minute shower.
Now that she's almost 2; I close off the hallway with a baby gate and leave the door to the bathroom open and let her wander around while I shower.

I hate night showering and hubby's gone too early in the morning for me to squeeze one in beforehand..

I'm lucky if I get a shower.. If I'm not able to get one while the little ones are napping then I just get one after they go to bed.

 

now, they won't even let me enter the bathroom!

My daughter showers with me. It's a stall, not a tub, so she just wanders around me until I am done, then we soap her up. She loves it and I have to sneak off when there are people here to watch her or she wants to shower, too. She's 2 1/2.
