MTV to prduce 2006 Bonnaroo?

I've just heard that 2005 is the last year Superfly is going to be doing bonnaroo, and that MTV is taking over for the '06 show. Can anyone affirm this? Hopefully it is just a rumor.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't.... I'm not going anymore, anyway, because it just wasn't that cool this year. It's already getting too huge and commercial-y.

 

The roo has sold at anyway, so if mtv takes it i wont be suprised, let em have it...theres still all good and haymaker and moedown and moe summer camp and smilefest and others i cant even think of right now...

 

If that does happen, I wonder how things might change about the roo, if at all.

If MTV takes over roo they'll probably have all these lame ads for it and hip hop and shit there

 

mtv will bring snoop dogg and heavy metal bands to tear down the roo like they did at woodstock. mtv should be ashamed of themselfs for causing such a massive tragety in our cultures memories...woodstock will allways be 69 for me..not 99...shame on you mtv
