Beautifull in a wickedly destructive way :) I doubt this eruption will result in any deaths.

Is it wrong that I love these type of things? eruptions, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes? I know they cause destruction, but they are just so beautiful!

I don't know why this is getting hyped so much on tv, and that's what it is, hype. Even if it erupted with the same magnitude as 1980, there is more than 1000 ft. less of the mountain than there was then, the glacier is an icicle compared to what was there before, and the surrounding areas are practically uninhabited. It's a waste of concern and news coverage. And with all this monitoring equipment they have installed... way to spend tax-payers money. I'm happy knowing that there were 200 earthquakes today... oh and what was that? You mean the scientists can't do anything about it? Oh no! What am I going to do now!? What if she erupts! I'll die, I'll die!

    Peace
