I'm going to be moving soon, and I am not going to be bringing any weed on me, but I'll have my pipe, and I was wondering if I have anything to worry about? I'll be washing it down in boiling water, but will it still have a faint scent that drug dogs can pick up? Or would drug dogs even go near it? I'm moving from Florida to Conneticut, so it is a long drive. We're paying a moving company to move our shit....
how far are you moving? if you're just going in a moving truck, there shouldn't be a problem. i would just keep it in my pocket or pack it with my clothes or something.
the moving guys aren't going to be searching for weed. and if they happened to find it they probably wouldn't even care, unless of course you wouldn't share.
from Florida to conneticut, I believe it's around 1500 miles. The moving guy obviously won't search it, but if cops never search moving trucks, or use drug dogs at weigh stations, why would ANYONE ever bring pot on them across the country, why wouldn't they just hire a moving company to do it for them?
there's always a slight chance that cops will search the moving truck i guess but i wouldn't worry about it.
Ya just get all the resin off of em and put them in a box with clothes or something. Pieces are legal, shouldn't have anything to worry about. And the police should have no reason to search moving trucks. ya know?
I'm guessing you're flying to connecticut? Yea, take these guy's advice. By some 99% isoprophyl rubbing alcohol and soak it for a good hour or so. Then wash it out and if there's still a smell buy some 420 at the local head shop. That stuff tends to get rid of the smell pretty well. If it still has a faint smell, find a shampoo bottle that you can fit your bowl into and put the bowl in 2 or 3 ziploc baggies and stuff it in their. Dogs shouldn't be able to smell it.
i wouldnt worry about it. especially if its clean. you're moving everything you own across the country. just pack it with the rest of your shit. cops arent going to search every box. like someone said, pipes are legal. if youre really paranoid, soaking in alcohol is a good idea and so is the shampoo thing.
IF like your post TITLE implies, you're renting a truck? Put the pipe in the back. They CANNOT search the truck unless you give permission, and they won't even ASK to unless you break a traffic law, and give them reason to suspect anything.
