so we (2 women & 2 kiddos) are leaving for guadalajara on the 21st! we'll be living in mexico for a year. i'm still trying to get packed & remember all those little details! any last minute advice??????
I love Guadalajara!!!!!!!!!! Have fun!!! Don't wear expensive items, drive a nice car or let your wife dress provacativley and you should be fine. I've never lived in Mexico but I spent a month in jalisco and loved it!
Guadalajara is beautiful; it isn't what it used to be, though. I lived there from 1978 to 1987, but I think now it's too big. Another Mexican city that is similar to Guadalajara—as it was 25-30 years ago—is Morelia, in the state of Michoacán.
