Hey! Well I live in America...but I really want to move to Australia. How do you do that? I'm only 17 now...but how if I convinced my parents to all move there? My mom says "You can't just go and move there". But I really wish I could. Is there ANY way I can move there - eiether soon with my family, or later by myself and little sister(because she wants to as well!) ????? I don't know how the 'moving and living in another country' laws work out. Thanks so much!

have you been to Australia before? What makes you want to move here?
why don't u try for a student exchange? if you want to live in Australia and study. Otherwise, wait til you finish school, then come over on a working holiday.

I agree about the exchange. it's the easiest and often the most fun way to experience another culture. But if you have ur heart set on moving here... dont hold ur breath. As crazy as it may sound, Australia doesn't have a very open door policy for american immigrants. I'll vouch for ya though if ur really desperate :)

not being poor + being white = key to becoming a citizen in any western nation.

The problem you'll face is that they will want someone to promise to take care of you for like 3 years if you fail to get a job.

Best bet with immigration to any country is do a long term internship and try to find away to get a job with the company so you have a means to support yourself, it shoudlnt be a problem then. Either that or get your degree at an australian university, you are pretty much guaranteed a perm visa and then citizenship.
