Signs scared the shit out of me when I first saw it. I was in the 3rd or 4th grade though. The Eye (2002) was also pretty freaking scary. The original Hong Kong Version, not the one with Jessica Alba. I also thought 1408 was pretty creepy

I love the whole Horror genre , from Old Boris Karlof movies till today .

One movie that I found scary in an eerie way was The Changeling (from 1980, not the newer Angelina Jolie movie). The child's voice was so eerie and the bouncing ball was creepy!

I didn't see The Changeling but a few films I found eerie were Orphan and The Skeleton Key, the creepy hoodoo curse was spooky.

I agree, Christinabelle, that voice was so unsettling, sent chills down my spine. And the ubiquitous ball! Are you the Christinabelle from the Carol Burnett skit. :)

I liked Skeleton Key too, Basil (I love Fawlty Towers by the way)… what a freaky ending it had.

I also agree that the Japanese version of The Eye was better than the remake. The Japanese versions of The Grudge, The Ring and Dark Water are better as well.

i liked the newer one with kiefer but the older original was really really good...not really a horror but still scary to know there are people like that out there
