So this morning I had some surgery done on my mouth, I had the muscle in the front of my mouth cliped and other stuff done. I was wondering how long I should wait till I smoke again. I talked to my Dr. and he said that at least a day for cigarettes, and I wasn't about to ask him about weed cause thats just awkward. I have a sore from where they cut which is my main concern. Does anyone have any idea how long to wait or anything?

if the doctor said you only had to wait a day to smoke cigarettes, then i'd say you'd be fine to smoke weed instead.. after all you're doing the same motion with your mouth smoking cigs as you do smoking weed..
just take it easy at first, and if you don't feel any pain or nothing happens then you'll probably be okay

bro, take it easy with the smoking about a two weeks...I'm not a doctor so don't make a decision on what I'm telling you, but when I had some surgury done I took off about two weeks and was fine. smoking can make it heal slower...so just wait till the pain etc. is gone.

Just be careful, my friend had surgery done on her mouth and kept smoking cigarretts and weed. One night she just began to bleed uncontrolably, and it wouldnt stop for about an hour, we had to rush her to the emergency room so it'd stop.
My point is just be cautious about it

I was going to suggest brownies for a while, but chewing after surgery might not be much fun. Does anyone have instructions for an MJ smoothie?
