What is the most stressful thing about having an automobile?

 

The other drivers...

 

being pulled over repeatedly by the popo

 

Expensive, unexpected repairs.

breaking down 400 miles away from home

 

Everything!!

Just kidding. it can seem like that at times.

Yea other drivers can suck. But for me it's def huge, unexpected car repair bills.....esp when you just fix one thing and less than a month or two later something else expensive goes wrong. And being stuck on the side of the road and having to find rides to repair shops and alternative rides for someone to get to work...and even just stuff from the store...suck too.

 

When they don't break, and provide a wrenching outlet for relaxing from other stress.

Or, when they break too badly, and provide additional stress.

 

A flat tire when you out in the middle of damn nowhere land. That is always a ..... 'WELL FUCK ME.'

Or the fact there is a giant tank of explosive liquids near you that could make one of you into many when you driving to a place to have a good fun time.

 

All the bills that come with a car, plus the licence and plate yearly renewal! :dizzy2: I'd rather just bike.

 

Gas is not something to be fucked with, and you should have a fire extinguisher in your car.

But it's not going to blow up - even if it does, it's not a movie explosion, unless you like, play with fire with your gas door open, you'll be just fine. It explodes in the sense that it makes plumes of fire, but not in the movie sense of blowing the crap out of the car, in ALMOST any situation.

The scary thing about gas is burns, either from a flash fire, or especially, if gas is thrown onto your skin.

 

I think it is amazing how we (me and other drivers) pass eachother by not much more than a meter or 2 on small roads but with deadly speeds. Why isn't that stressful to a lot of us?? I guess because we trust eachother that we are eager to stay alive

Would be the biggest drag for me too.

 

Trying to find the one the customer wants. Usually it is buried 6 foot deep

probably the idea of having to have insurance, when you're lucky to be able to afford to put gas in it.

all these things that you're constantly having to throw money at, that you never get anything back from doing so.

and then if you buy one on time, that really makes you a slave to it.

 

At the moment by window doesn't work, it's a pain to smoke now, need some sort of make shift ashtray and have to use my left hand...which is not very accurate :/ Also it's a drag at drive-thrus (not that I go to them often...)
