Most overrated artist!?

So who do you think is the most overrated artist or band, personally i think its Elvis Presley, im not saying his music is crap or anything just that.........he is absoultly everywhere and its annoying, lol

How do you figure? They are just new, and they really aren't that popular.....of course maybe they are now, I haven't been out for awhile

 

john lennon is prolly one of the greatest songwriters of all time, and was part of prolly the biggest band of all time in my opinions, i would never call him overrated.

 

the mars volta is a good band that plays good music... in order to be over rated, you have to play shitty music..
mars volta is still relatively not that popular, they arent mainstream.

john lennon made the beatles... he has more than just af ew good songs... if you look at his songs and decipher the composition and etc, he was an awesome songwriter..

How could he be more over rated than Green Day or My Chemical Romance or Metallica

 

They are not new they have two or three albums. I think they have this hype around them that they don't deserve. Musically I just can't get into them, everyone talks about them like they are the next big thing, but I just dont see it.

 

meh, t here are better bands than mars volta but they arent nearly popular enough that I would call t hem over rated... t hey're songs are better than 98% of shit on mtv.

john lennon introduced so many genres into the world
