Anything that stands out as the funniest / best / moving TV moment. For example the Chucks the Clown Funeral from the Mary Tyler Moore Show. For myselft, the original Candid Camera had Buster Keaton in a diner as a regular customer sitting at the counter. He was having accidents, like spilling his coffee into his roast beef sandwich, then wringing the excess coffee out of the sandwich like a rag. Sleeves ripping out of his jacket, etc. All the while ordinary customers (the victims) were watching him and trying not to laugh.
theres a few moments in my generation, im not old enough for the moon landing or to remember the MASH sign off, although in re-runs i have to say that was a very good episode. September 11 th is the most important television media coverage that i've witnessed. Im not american, but it affected me from the otherside of the hemisphere.
Oh Yes. That gets my vote. For a comedy series as funny as Blackadder was, it was very poignant the way they paid tribute to all those thousands that did die in that war by ending the final episode on such a sad note. If I recall correctly, it also came top in a recent TV poll of the most memorable TV moments !!
hahaha I remember seeing that, and Mary couldnt stop laughing..that was funny.. My most memorable moment, well I dont know, but I do remember when winnie and kevin first kissed on wonder years, the whole episode was good..
That Chuckles scene was good. Mary is still talking about that one. Speaking of funerals, the Jeffersons had a good funeral scene where George was giving the eulogy about a crook who died. While he was saying nice things about the guy, the camera kept panning into the group of people and you could hear what they were really thinking: "He kicked my dog!" "He insulted my mother!" "He still owes me my 50 bucks!" I like when Richie was dressed up as a girl for the frat initiation and Fonzie picked him to dance with and didn't know it was him. The original Candid Camera was a great show. Speaking of restaurants incidents, Alan Fundt once had a loaded grapefruit at the table and was squirting people next to him every time he poked the spoon in it. Some dude next to him kept getting squirted in the face. He happened to be wearing a wind breaker and pulled the hood up over his face. I saw Fundt's son on TV a few weeks back hosting the new Candid Camera show.
The very first time I saw L.A. LAW. I was at someone's home and he told me that I would enjoy the show. I was reluctant to watch it. It was the episode that had the broken elevator. Diane Muldaur was suing the firm for wrongful discharge. At the end of the episode the elevator door opened, she stepped inside, and plummeted to her death. My heart came flying out of my mouth. I turned to my friend and said, "Is every episode like this?"
