What is your happiest/favorite barefoot experience? First time leaving home barefoot? Going into a store? Walking in mud? Feeling hot pavement? Not feeling "different" because you were barefoot? Mine was going for my first barefoot walk (yes, at night, in a secluded park--hey, breakthroughs can be damn gradual) and focusing on all the sensations as my bare soles traversed so many different objects. It was an encyclopedia of feeling!
My most barefoot fun was the first time walking in a store barefoot when I was a kid it was so awesome and it’s still awesome to walk in a store and shop around barefoot. And driving barefoot is so awesome and the other most barefoot fun was camping barefoot when I was a teenager. I have a lot of barefoot fun that I have done in my life and it’s still going strong.
My happiest experience was the first time I walked Dean Watts park in Bardstown Ky. I was new to barefoot walking and I was trying to find a suitable place. It was and is still wonderful walking there. I can easily walk two or more miles there.
Yes. The beginnings are the strongest experience, when we gradually overcame our inhibitions and enjoyed new and very pleasant feelings of being barefoot in public, and every single place we appeared barefoot brought new and strong experiences. Today, walking barefoot is completely normal and natural for me, and I especially enjoy the fact that I no longer have any inhibitions about being barefoot anywhere.
It's always the place I go barefoot at first time. It's no longer a challenge, it's completely natural to me, but the feeling is simply different, new.
