How fast does Morphine kick in? I am talking about the Morphine bottles, with the liquid in them. I just wanted to know how fast it crosses the blood-brain barrier. I know that Heroin does this super fast, hence the rush from IV-ing, but I wanted to know how fast Morphine kicks in? Is it worth getting a bottle?
and that is because, compared with insufflation OR popping pills, IV is obviously straight into your blood stream and does not have to be absorbed by mucus membranes or your stomach/small intestine. Quicker absorption into blood stream= quicker effects.
