    Morning Impression

In this morning of trembling bird-songs and stretching
an assembly of orchards trade apples
    between shadows
the mountains put on their skirts of mist
    and daffodils

this country a constellation of sorrows
a horizon that is doing circles around the tallest flower

the light teaches you how to open your eyes.

Yes, open eyes and open hearted, this is a beautiful painting full of care to detail.
