If you believe that we didn't go to the moon you are probably likely to one day be convinced that the earth is flat too.
a human from earth, from the u.s. on earth, did set foot on the moon. but ... by no streatch of the immagination does the u.s. deserve full credit for this taking place. not only would the effort not likely have occured had russia not launched sputnik in 1957, but the effort itself invoulved far more international cooperation then is generaly acknowledged or immagined. so to say the u.s., acting on its lonesome, put a man on the moon in 1969 is a gross indulgence in unwarnted nationalistic egotism. =^^= .../\...
If the Apollo 11 moon landing was faked then I assume Apollo 12 was also, then what was the Apollo 13 crisis? Did they fake a failed moon launch in order to throw us off track, or was it the first real attempt to land on the moon and it failed? Damn, piecing together conspiracy theories is a lotta fun!
This is such an old debate. Yes, we did achieve this wonderful accomplishment in 1969. It was one of my most wonderful childhood memories. As a child to watch this live (WOW) to this day to remember it gives me chills. It puts things in perspective as to how wonderful this nation can be, if it sets a goal.
I agree with you bkcmar, but I would have said "world" instead of "nation". Remember what Neil Armstrong said, "That's one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind." He never said it for America he said it for the world.....
i don't believe they did. i saw a really convincing documentary on it a while back, with photographs supposedly taken on the moon that had up to five shadows in different directions, as well as other convincing evidence. where would the multiple shadows come from, if not from the lights of a recording studio?
You don't mean that one on FOX do you? I mean the fact it was on FOX should've been the 1st hint to people.
I believe it was on the ABC - Australian Broadcasting Centre, a non-commercial public broadcasting station.
This is the 4th thread on the moon landing hoax theory -that I know of on this website. That's good because the speculation will never go away until The State Department officially confirms or denies the suspicions with inconclusive evidence. On all 4 topics started;I say:The moon landings were a hoax . If you want my evidence & reasons: -please check out the other topics on other forums on here.
Think about it: If he was the first man on the moon how would there be footage of the landing. *Eerie music* :onder ponder:: Hmmmm.
The TV camera was stowed in an instrument pallet in the Lunar Module descent stage. When Armstrong was at the top of the ladder, he pulled a lanyard to swing open the pallet, which was hinged at the bottom. The TV camera, which was attached to it, also swung down. Buzz Aldrin then switched on the camera from the LM cabin. The camera was pointing at the ladder of the LM so that TV pictures of Armstrong's initial steps on the Moon could be relayed to the world. The camera was later removed from its mounting and placed on a tripod some 30 feet from the LM, where it was left unattended to cover the remainder of the moonwalk. Do you really think they would miss getting the first shot of a man on the moon? That was really important so they had it set up to capture that moment.
Also the footage of the actual Lunar Landing was filmed through the LM pilot's window using the 16mm DAC camera, not from the moon.
Thank you for telling me that. I really had no idea, I was just being silly. But, thank you forthe clarification.
No problem Xxo. I know theres so many questions about it, but I honestly believe theres an answer for all them. But that was a good pondering statement you said
