THE MOODY BLUES!!!! Cool. Yeah, man I really like pretty much anything they released it's all good. Groovy. Infact I might listen to them later, I haven't listened to them in a while.
can't really say i'm a big fan, but i've seen em live a couple of times and they put on a real nice show
i have seen them 2 times. once when i was maybe 3 or 4. some of my earliest childhood memories. then once3 agean a few years ago.
I saw them with the Colorado Philharmonic Orchestra at Red Rocks Amphitheater. What an incredible show. Yes, I'm a big fan.
*cries* Anyway... my mom got their greatest hits. She's not a *huge* fan, but we listend to it in the car and as soon as we got home I snatched it and put it on my computer. As you can tell I like Gemini Dream and Blue World A LOT, I need more of their stuff! Most kids hate the stuff their parents listen too, but thanks to my mom I love the Police, Moody Blues, Roaseann Cash and John Hiatt, and thanks to my dad i love Clapton, Fleetwood Mac and The Allman Brothers Band.
i love those guys ...until 1973 ...'cause their come back in the late 70' was outrageous... I love specially the Hayward and Pinder songs... Hayward songwriting make you travel in a cloud...ideal for a good smoke and Pinder is more introspectif dark and psychedelic ...this is not my ideal band 'cause there's always a few songs in every albums that i don't love so much...but this is a very "unique" band.
yeah but it's surelly not as magic as 35 years ago in the top of their view...and Pinder the Organist an important member has leave 30 years ago... whatever...you're in the lucky number who see them one day...oh lucky lady...mmmmhhh you give me inspiration for my next song... thanx u
cool it's my best of their album too...i've heard in a friend home " a question of balance" this is the last that i don't own ...and it's seems to be real real good ...probably in my top 3 too... What will i pay to see them back in time live...? There's a lot of bands that i wanted to see ...why i'm not born in 1946 (4 exemple) mmhhh or another of those years...it's maybe better like that ...i will be a old hippie right know......but i know it's not a question of age but a question of : " how many lifes i had live until know" "God only knows" ...Wilson will say this is my moodies top 3 : 1) to our children children children's (nov69) 2) a question of balance (august70) 3) in the search of the lost chords (july68)
knights in white satin..one of my favorites from them..also. most people may not have heard this from them but i was searching around and it came up saying it was from them but im still not sure if it is acually them but it sounds like them. Timothy Leary's Dead. i heard this song and i was like.....whoa...hahaha its pretty cool.
"Ride my See-Saw" , "Om" and "Vision of Paradise" all "In the search of the lost chords" those songs are really trippy...anyway the moodies are always trippy
