Actually, I recently read an excellent book all about a man that lives totally without money, and he is a very happy and honest man. His name is Daniel Suelo. And he literally gave away his life savings (12 years ago) because he came to the conclusion that money only made him feel miserable and even suicidal. He also believes that poor people are more generous than rich. Anyway, the book is: The Man Who Quit Money. And he has a blog about how folks can thrive in a moneyless society. He really is a very original and brilliant dude. I read the book twice. QP
Thanks man. sounds like a good read.i'm going to check that book out.. right money definitely brings problems..
Me neither, in fact quite the opposite! People in power are more and more being seen in their true light- that of lying manipulative cunts that think money buys them power!
@ Maelstrom and JimmyJoe1: You're both very welcome. And I hope you find the book as insightful as I did. QP
Seen as more honest to whom? I don't see the people in power as honest at all. But I see what you're saying, I guess.
What I mean is that if you attempt to bring a legitimate case against someone in power, you will most likely lose because the person in charge of your judgment and fate is also in power. Those in power protect others in power and are seen as honest because their money buys their honesty. You will be seen as dishonest because you have no money to buy honesty.

I think the people in power have only the illusion of power. The point is brought home when they get the flu.
A couple of my friends are a little "eccentric" with money. They're worth many, many millions. But they drive normal cars, wear high st clothes, live in normal houses. Even tho they have things like plates worth 50k, cars worth half m, and big portfolios. One of them even said his money had been a "curse" because it attracted people of bad will. I can be a little eccentric with it myself. However, I'm adamant its not money thats bad. It depends on what you do with it.
Interesting , this does not surprise me. I thought this would happen. Like say an average joe hits the 1%. Will the illuminati contact him or something? Lol I'm sure bill gates was
Actually threats are just as likely to come from below as they are from above. Like people pretending to be your friend then trying to fuck you etc. Its not just the "powers that be", as they need stability, and can often be a source of security, albeit perhaps in a limited sphere. I don't think the Illuminati ever worry about the top 1% in wealth, unless its a scientist or CIA director etc. I've been meaning to add some stuff on the Illuminati thread when I have a few mins spare.
