Mold on weed

So it seems for the first time I've been unlucky enough for my weed to go moldy. Well, I'm pretty sure it's moldy anyway. The weed has a white tint to it and there is NO weed smell whatsoever, just smells like after it's just rained.

But I smoked some yesterday, it tasted quite nice in the joint still, and it got me very high. So my question is, think it's moldy or could the smell be misleading? It doesn't look moldy because the white tint is even across every single bud as if it was just how the plant grew. Might get a picture later.

Also, if it is moldy, would *you* smoke moldy weed? I'm smoking it either way but I might start using jars rather than just leaving my weed in baggys now.

mouldy weed? I've never even heard of that. Sounds like it could be pretty hazardous..mould is never good for your lungs

 

I think its just crystals on it. That white fur stuff on good bud maybe?

haha the white fur stuff as in the trichomes. I saved some dank ass sour diseal for 6 months and it smoked up great! Ive known people smoke weed thats a year old and its still good.

 

If it's mold then don't smoke it. Really Really bad to put spores in your lungs. If is crystal dank niceness smoke it up.

 

I doubt it's mold, but if it is, do NOT smoke it.

 

i have smoked moldy weed with no side effects other than getting high... ur fine

 

i was going through an old trunk of my uncles and found weed from the 80's, mold free

 

its how they dry it out and the moisture turns to mold
Only i think it has a harsh taste but its gets the job done

Well smoking mouldy weed can be bad as it increase the chance of inhaling spores into your lungs which could cause infection and health complications.

But I have never thrown weed away !

 

It was worse the next day, turning brown and clearly mouldy. Smoked it anyway because I'm stupid like that. Did me no harm though since only a small part of it went mouldy, and at the end of the day, it got me high

In future I'll be making sure my bud is dry though.

thats like saying only touch money that has no germs on it

all living plants have mould of some kind on it

some you can see with your eye..most need an electron microscope...but its there

and many many types of mould are completely harmless even if you purposely inhale the spores
