moe. in boston

anyone goin to the moe. concert 2/9 at the orpheum in boston? pretty freagin excited for the show myself.

 

i'd like to go but i have nowhere in boston to stay if i make the trip.

 

you can camp out on a park bench with me and my mates

 

im seein moe. the next day on 2/10...
its gonna be my irst moe. show, so im exicted!

 

I got prior engagements with my band unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately. I was gonna go too. Orpheum is a siiiick venue. Some good times there...

Well, if youre gonna be at ratdog march 13 keep in touch. Ill sure as hell be there.

the show was amazing. i just got back from it and can't remember the all of what they played......recreational chemistry, wind it up, seed in my pants, tailspin, mexico, rise....some others i can't remember...

wow, i've never been able to get this many drugs at a concert. I met up with this one guy there, atleast 50 years old. he has 600 hits of acid, a pound of mushies, a shitload of opium, hash and over 100 hits of E on him. Then about 5 people came all with nitrous tanks and set up right infront of the alley way. there were tons of deals being made right next to a busy street. good times. awesome show, awesome experience.

yea, It was a great night! it was my 12th moe. show and as always it was tight, the scene was nice, and i really like not getting patted down before a show.

 

oh yea, theres already two sources on archive. you moe. kids are quick!!!!!!

 

last time i saw moe. it was terrible. they played two nights in chicago over thanksgiving and i feel like i wasted my money. they only played for 2 1/2- 3 hours... and i paid 70 bucks for two nights.. to me, 70 bucks for 5 hours of less than great music is not a good deal. and to think i used to love moe...
i felt cheated.

 

on 2/10, when moe. played in philly, 3 members of the disco biscuits came out in the third set and jammed with them!!!.... i was in heaven!

but the crowds energy was seriously lacking at that show, i was keepen the vibe up though!

 

that's what seems to happen at moe. shows these days.. either it's a bunch of drunk assholes or the crowd seems dead...

 

or too many people tripping on shrooms

 

yeah, too many kids that can't handle themselves on drugs...
or amateurs as some of us say.

 

there was a great lot scene in philly!!! inside the energy was just lacking, but the set lists where amazing. it was my first moe. show and i don't want to judge them just cuz the crowd was lack luster, i will definitely give them another chance next time they come to town.

yeah but when i saw them here in chicago two nights in a row, it wasn't just the crowd. the band was lack luster too. i used to love moe. the chicago shows kinda ruined it for me.
