"Moderate republicans", when was the last time anyone ever hear that term? Well that's what the media is calling McCain and McConnell, moderates! I guess, compared to teabaggers, they do look that way.

The cons have no choice now but to blame the teabaggers for the demise of the GOP. Because of the government shutdown, the republicans are already getting the blame from the American people. So to save the GOP from total collapse in next years election, the teabaggers are going to be the scapegoat. The republicans will lose the House of Representatives next year, but may retain some seats by running "moderate" republicans against the extremist teabaggers.

There are moderate repubs., BUT you're right that McCain is not one of them. He's just not fringe, but that doesn't make him moderate.

Aaaah.... the Republicans could never agree upon the power of legislation to know the Family. I take it there are reputable people in Boston now all thrilled about "Love and the Madness Revolution": is the Jewsih family dead in Israel by the Iranian anti-zionist plot.

How did the cold was have nuclear weapons as a deterant for "Peace in our Time".

Eh.... stump your parents this way.

It's not Bush's fault. But the GOP, has lost control of it's fringe groups, they're dominating the ideology of that party and it's not healthy for the country.

The GOP, should let Obamacare pass, and when they win the next Presidential election, which will happen in time, they can try their ideas on what they believe government is responsible for, and scale it down. But don't gridlock the entire system now during an economic recovery...I'm still unsure if the country's budget even benefits from a shutdown.

CNN asked some cons on the street if they preferred Obamacare or THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT. Cons said they preferred THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT. Ignorance is bliss for cons.

There's a libertarian streak running through the GOP, 'anarchists' as Harry Reid so eloquently put it.. they needed to back up and punt anyway so hopefully this trend continues and I can stop 'wasting' my votes on independents.

The best thing about this is Obamacare has begun and is fully funded and already a fucking disaster, people are taking note of that and also realizing that the sky isn't falling because 800,000 gov't employees aren't getting paid for surfing facebook or taking paid leave.

    Then ya know what?

I think it's high time the Libertarians break away from the GOP, form their own coalition and party, so that way there's not this crossover pandering to certain factions of their own party, and each party would have it's own platform on the issues.

Right now Libertarians are overlapping with the GOP, but their ideals are different in many respects.
