MMW doesnt play out here much at all these days. Have a great time for me. Those shows will be terrific!
goin' to MMW and then to Umphrees. Barring a financial windfall (unlikely) those will be all I see until Wakarusa. Yes, Bogarts does suck. But at least you can get right up against the stage. A couple of times ago when MMW played there, they played that acoustic encore right up at the edge of the stage. Jon M had that kids air keyboard with the tube to his mouth. That was AMAZING!!!

Dude no one has ever harassed me about smoking healing herbs at mmw.... it's just not right. But I heard that NY clubs are cracking down on this now. It's a dam shame that I can't smoke trees at a show. Rules like these suck, and this is why babylon don't make my rules.

bogarts (cincy) is REALLY strict about herb - if you are caught (and they do catch a lot of people), you are thrown out immediately. the newport is now non-smoking due to a new law in columbus so that makes it a little harder to puff. of course, a one hitter is easier to hide than a cig so it is possible. the problem is that now security walks around looking for cigarettes (or any lighter flashing, really...)
