Hello there! I was reading this pregnancy book last week and it had an interesting chapter on holistic practices that can be done to help with the birth of a child. Just thought I'd share a tidbit about tea with y'all!

Red Clover- Balances hormones, and good for calcium and magnesium balance.
Nettle Leaf- Strengthens and nourishes uterus and body.
Red Raspberry Leaf- Nourishes uterine muscles and endometrial lining. One cup a day throughout pregnancy is believed to lessen the likelihood of a long labor or C-section.

Put a handful of the herbs into a 1-quart glass jar of boiled water. Let steep for 4-8 hours (preferably overnight) and put in fridge. Stays fresh for 3-4 days or so.

My midwife gave me some of this the other day. I expected it to taste gross but it is really good :) I've been drinking it "iced". I think I'll go make some more right now :D
