Is humor DURING sex a turn off? Will a well placed joke crack the mood? This question has plagued me for some time. During sex, i can't help but think of jokes, and for some reason i hold them back. I think i might be worried that joking during sex would turn my gf off. For example, a quote from a movie or something we thought, because of its complete randomness, was funny in real life. If i whispered that in her ear when we're really getting into it, i KNOW she would crack up. Do you think that would spoil her sexual jolly for a more literal form of jolly? Will jokes ruin sex even if they're good jokes?
i think it would be fine to make a subtle joke during sex as long as its the right time and place. like during light foreplay when both people are touching and tickling, a little humor could only add to the building excitement. but if your railing her from behind, making a joke could definitely come off a bit disrespectful. but as long as you care for eachother, i dont think any harm could be done, so why not try it? its probably the least threatening kink i've ever heard... hahaha have fun

Best bet would be to make a joke AFTER a fuck. Don't try and be cute during the buildup. Too risky. Well, is your woman the sort who likes love and laughter together? I'm that sort, and I can tell you that timing is everything. I'm easily distracted, so if I laugh too hard, we have to start over, which leads to giggle fits, and eventually, yes, we have a great time, but is it an amazing mind blowing time? Not really. It is memorable, and good for bonding. But a chuckle is a heart chakra opener, imo. And open heart energy is a good thing. and then the joke becomes a lover's in-joke for places you might be running stealth.
