I was looking on the Wikipedia page of the former East Germany and I noticed the photo of a statue of Karl Marx. He would have been horrified if he had lived to what life was like in post war Soviet communist bloc countries like the former DDR and worse Romania.

It is amazing how some people can subscribe to an ideology and completely lose the plot. There are some people who can quote chapter and verse from the Bible and have no understanding what it is on about.

I think he would have been horrified to see what life was like in Post-Bolshevik Revolution Soviet Union---especially the Stalinist Soviet Union. He probably would have committed suicide of the Khmer Rouge...

the point that's missed is that the ideology isn't the plot. ideology, any ideology, is something people pay lip service to so they can make excuses out of it.

excuses to do the wrong thing, because doing the right thing would be somebody else's ideology. stallinists did that, but so did mccarthiests.

there's no point here. only smoke and mirrors.
