if you could forever rid life of one menial task what would it be and why? i personally would get rid of needing to use the toilet because 1) we would be a much cleaner species and 2) i would never again have to get up on the middle of the night to pee
i don't know. food preparation maybe? if you could just open the fridge and find a ready-to-eat meal, life would be much easier.
mundane tasks tend to be far too course grained to be called minutia. gremlins may lurk in the details, but the only real gratification hides nowhere else. it might be nice to be able to 3d print telekenetically.
waiting for the bus is a big one. we have these cunty seats at bus stops to stop homeless people from kipping there (because we'd rather all be uncomfortable than let one homeless person have a decent place to kip, apparently) you have to kind of perch on the lip of them in the freezing fucking cold.
About once a year, I buy a dozen of exactly the same kind of socks, so I never have to worry about matching them And I've always worn shirts for casual, which you have to iron anyway in the morning. As a result, when washing is dried, i just chuck it all in the drawers, havent had to fold anything in years
