Looks good other than that air conditioner in the back.

I was about to say that the air conditioner is a very unique feature. Other than that, old school as fuck!
You gonna send us pics when you’re finished putting your touches on it?

Why would you want to live in your car? Is it by choice or are you forced to because of economic reasons?

I had a '75 Dodge Tradesman van... It had the raised roof "camper" conversion done to it. (possibly when new) It was yellow, had mag wheels, wide tires with white letter sidewalls, dual exhaust. Two little round windows on the sides... Hippie Van it was...

I moved from CA to OH (Yeah, I know "Why you do that") back in 2004 in that van, 4 Cats, 2 dogs, a European Starling, and myself. The back seat folded out into a bed. The dogs claimed that immediately. Had a U-haul trailer behind loaded with all my stuff. Made that trip in just under 4 days...

If I was single with no kids, I’d have a nice comfortable camper being towed by a badass monster truck. Drive all over the country without a care in the world.

Did your standard of living go up after you got here? 'Cuz it sure would today. About 30%.

A hammock tent may cure that, but it's a lot harder for a bear or cougar to eat you when camped in a van. It's also a lot harder for your common cretin to get to you in a van.
