Damn Wanderlai Silva kicks ass, can't believe he lost to Mark Hunt.

Gotta move back to San Antonio and start working again in a week or too. heh.

 

i watch videos of the fights and what not. been really thinking of training in Muay Thai (basically from what you've said of it and what not)

did you see the fight between Silva and Hunt? i saw it froma download. it looked close, but i don't know anything about scorign and what not.

 

Yeah I higly reccomend it, its fun as hell, and from a self-defense standpoint, its top notch. I mean I had all the boxing experience, but these past three years of Muay Thai make me more comfortable with my fists then ever.

Its relaxing, and its an awesome workout...

Ya still having knee problems? The only problem is that get in the way if you were ever thinking of getting in the ring, but if just for the workout, I highly recomend it.

Nah, didn't get to catch it, it was just a few weeks ago, so I didn't know if It'd be on p2p yet...

I love Silva though, sucks that he lost to Hunt in a descion, cause hes a lot better technically.

 

my knees getting better. tried running the other day when i took my dog out...it felt wierd, like i could push off my left with power, but i couldn't do it with my right due to my knee...so i still got sometime to go i guess...

i'm not thinking of getting in the ring competitively. atleast not now, who knows what the future brings...i just want to take it cuz it seems like an awesome workout and the discipline from it is good too!

i was looking to see if they offered any classes in vermont, but i couldnt' find any...so i would only be able to take it during the summer...

 

Yeah, those are reallly great benifits from it too... I hurt my shin a bit last time I was sparring... I'm thinking of taking a month off sparring and fighting and just stick to bag work.

Yeah, its a great workout and really fun.

Can't help 'ya... I dunno anything about the martial arts scene in Vermont... but If you want something to really help out your Muay Thai game, and get a good head start on it, take boxing. Its really fun, and great for self defense... and if you do get to take muay thai... you'll have a head up on the class.
