So for all of you on here that are relativly new, I went to mexico to teach english last october and have been home for most of the month of december. Ive been trying to decide weather or not i want to finish school or wait till next year and go back, and ive been talking to a school in Hermosillo Mexico about a job teaching English. They seem pretty serious and i have an interview on thursday over the phone for about 30 mins. Ill prob be there for about a year, and it will be back to smoking the mids mids and i prob wont be on here as much as i usually would be
^ Not good advice.. School is important.. As you get older school will be further and further out of your mind and budget. Do it now while you can get the funds either from your parents or grants. Don't put college off or it will never happen. Unless you're 40 and want a career change.
so yes get plagued down with a wife n kids bill etc n then expect to do what he wishes .... go have fun i say travel while you are young n can do so freely,, he is 19.... as i said the college and education will always be there and perhaps even in the time you are off you will change directions with your education , tayloring it into more of what will be suited to you for the rest of your life,,, i had kids at a young age n got buckled into life and stability etc,,, and if there is one thing i would probalby change in my life if i could it would have been seeing more of the world and gettin it out of my system before tying my life down for 20 yrs..
im only 19 ill be going back to school next year at this time, its not really that big of a deal education wise
Mexico, man. Put off school for another year, and get some more world/work experience under your belt, as well as making some new connections. It's a great opportunity. Edit : lol, just reread this. I mean CAREER connections.
ME TOO!! I'm tied down with a child and an alcoholic boyfriend who doesn't want me to leave him.. I wish I went to school!!!!!!!!!!!
school is still an option sister, single momma,,, native descent if ya wanna claim it,,, look into your options,,,, they are there especially if you have any sort of support system for the youngun where ya wouldnt have to farm her out,,,,hell even net classes are widely available now with classroom visits rare...
Well the school I want to attend is culinary, but they are very expensive. I'm sure I could get some financial aid though. The only person I trust to watch jade for so long would be my parent's, or my sister.. Her father too, but he wouldn't want that responsibility. I have to do some schooling eventually though so I can open the restaurant that I want. I have to take some business classes at the local community college. And I have to work on improving my credit too. I know it's very possible for me. I just have to do it.
I would do it. Its an oportunity and if it doesnt mess with your education or anything then you dont have a problem. I think it would be fun to do something like that.
I wouldnt listen to anything dilligaf has said. Go to school, get your shit done. You can travel the world when your done. Just because you made the mistake of having kids young dosent mean he will. In fact he's not tied down at all from doing schooling.
