i'm trying to get help getting off opiates, so i've decided to start the methodone clinic.... any advice.. is this a good idea!? im ready to get off, and i've tried cold turkey about 10 times.. needless to say, it didnt work. so if anyone has experience on this subject, please discuss! thanks =)
sorry to hear that you are going through this. It's good that you are trying to get free of addiction though. folks on the opiate forum will probably have more experience. you might also try searching some of the threads. of course, it's hard to know what advice is good and what is not I've heard mixed things about methadone. I think one of the problems with methadone is that it's also addictive, though probably better for you than many opiates acupuncture and traditional chinese medicine can be used to treat opiate addiction, but it may be hard to find or expensive hope that things can get better soon!
