Legally Methamphetamine can be prescribed to children who have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD in the US. This conflicts with the major anti-meth ads and programs that the government has initiated. Also meth used has only been identified and demonized since it was scheduled after it was sold as a weight loss treatment and has been used for years. I understand the risks and whatnot of meth addiction, but seriously prescribed to kids... legally? I think the US government should deal with the scripts for kids along with the pushers rather then leaving it out of the picture altogether.
