Metallica - I caught kirk hammetts pick

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was the best day of my life. I've never been to a concert with better sound than this. They sure know how to give the fans their moneys worth for a show. Fire, lasers, everything.

Me and my buddy were drunk as fuck and smoked 7 joints.

I was 6th row and that's so close that I was able to make eye contact with everyone in the band during the show. As I was puffin' on the joint Kirk looked at me with a big smile on his face and then he laughed.

Then the best thing ever happened. They were changing guitars and got new picks. I looked at Kirk and he mouthed the words "what the fuck?" and he looked at his pick. The roadie handed him a bass pick accidentally. So Kirk looks into the crowd and throws the little pick like a frisbee.

I swear to god this pick floated right into my hands. When I caught it my dad almost shit his pants and I think my friend might actually have......

Then all of these beach ball things started falling from the ceiling. When the last song was almost over James Hetfield was playing and he saw a ball on the stage and he kicked it and I caught and he was like "oh what a catch" instead of "seek and destroy".

Both times when Kirk and James noticed me I got a feeling over me that was just too awesome. This was the best day ever.

Just feet away from Metallica, caught my idols god damn pick, and caught a ball James Hetfield kicked....

Cool shit man. I sat pretty high up, I had no chance of catching anything. They sounded great when I saw them also.

aaahhhh i'm soooo happy for you! i totally know how it feels

my first concert EVER was a few years ago when i went to see placebo... we were 1 row away from the rail so my friend and i were talking to the security guy before the show. well i guess the stefan (the bass player) dropped his pick and the security guy grabbed it from the stage, pulled my hand out of the air and placed it in my palm. i was flabbergasted hahahaha. as if that wasn't enough, after the show we were walking away and he called us back to the stage, ripped of the set list for me and gave it to me. i was so fucking happy

and then recently at the mars volta concert i was at i was right on the rail between omar and cedric (love <3) AND i ended up getting the set list

 

until Kirk asks you one day to cum in your ass and you gladly accept
