metal FAIL

I think it's time we faced the truth about failed metal. Some music just sucks. Some music is just great. This whimpy fru-fru airy silliness about "it's just my opinion" is just people freaking out when they realize other people can figure out they listen to doofus music.

 

I like some of the bands on there, but I have no problem people thinking they suck. But this is still really gay. I mean, doofus music?

I agree that some music sucks, and some music is great. But you must be pretty stupid if you have a problem with someone saying "it's just my opinion". What the fuck else is someone supposed to say if they like a band or album, but you are telling them it "fails", yet they don't care and still like it? You are the "doofus" who insists on everyone agreeing on music.

 

I'm not really a Sepultura fan but Chaos A.D. is far from a fail to me. Actually it's all a matter of opinion wether you like it or not. Some people don't accept that and are ignorantly calling everything they don't like a fail. Sounds like a rather failing way to see things to me but whatever, if it's the only way to make the genre worthwhile for you, I guess your opinion is harmless anyway.

I used to dig sepultura when I was mad young. My bro was into them so naturally I picked up on liking them too. And besides, they beat the shit out of Korn and all sorts of other disasters. These guys weren't half bad.

 

Sepultura used to be a sick band. Chaos A.D and everything after it aren't exactly something I'd listen to though...

 

Although I do have a Chaos AD poster in my room. I love that picture. It's fuckin' sick.

I LOVE good metal. Metal was my first favorite genre, and it will always have a special place in my heart. However, the majority of the stuff out there, especially the majority of bigger bands, just plain suck ass. That full list included.

And I agree with you completely about some music being good and some music sucking.
And I can even recognize it when I like music that sucks =P

Check out "Morbid Visions." It's intense, like Possessed/Slayer hybrid

 

I personally like Arise best.

I can't argue for a lack of quality to anything they did up through "Arise." "Morbid Visions" is a personal favorite; "Arise" is a technical peak.

 

Who the fuck has the right to define what's fail and what's not? Jeez, people have to learn how to respect eachothers taste in different stuff, also when it comes to music. It's okay for one to say that his/her personal opinion is this and that, but to make an article about it is the top of stupidity.

I do not agree with that list at all, does that make my taste in music a major failure?
