Just wondering, if you got pulled over by a cop 2 days before Christmas and the cop ended up letting you go warning and ticket free but hugged you and said merry Christmas and you were Jewish, would that bother you?
Depends on how long the hug was, and where his hands were. Must be nice to get a hug though. I get tasered every time I get pulled over. They say it's because I call them names, and throw beer bottles at them.
No, it's the thought that counts. I would just be happy that another human felt the kind of love required to hug a complete stranger and wish them good tidings.
Are you kidding If I were jewish I would sell my soul to the devil to get out of a speeding ticket :2thumbsup: Fortunately I’m not Jewish :cheers2: Hotwater
I had a panic attack at the wheel as soon as I saw the lights. I couldn't even talk when she came to my car. I had to call my dad to talk to the police officer. I managed to get a few words out and she asked me where I was headed and I said to get a tattoo. She asked where I was getting it done. She knew the tattoo artist well and escorted me there. She even threw on her police lights. We get inside and she hugs me and tells me to be careful and merry Christmas. For the record I'm not Jewish. I was just curious to hear from you guys.
I actually have had some serious anxiety issues over physical contact with strangers, thanks for making light of it.
what about cops? everyone should try and completely get rid of ANY anxiety they have about police...they use fear to their advantage ..they get used to expecting people to be nervous and their egos feed off of it
You're welcome. Now if only you would make light of it instead of taking it so seriously the issue might dissolve entirely.
They don't make me anxious. They make me angry and frustrated. I wouldn't allow a LEO to hug me.....ever.
no, but it would bother me if i had to stop for a school bus on september 3, 2014 and in the bus i saw identical twins sharing a seat and then a homeless person ran up and started to clean my windshield but i didn't have any money for him but he was very understanding when i explained that to him but then i found some change in my ashtray and i gave it to him anyway and he thanked me and went on his way and a green mercury sable pulled up behind me as the school bus finally started moving again and i drove along followed by the mercury until i turned onto a side street and the mercury continued along its regular path and i was jewish..
