I havn't been on here for about 2 years or something, kinda lost touch.
all you Melbourne folk, what do you do? work, play, interest wise..
If we have things in common we should have gatherings (there isn't already something like this is there?) hehe.

    peace,
    J

Being born and raised in Oakleigh, it strikes me as funny that someone would be excited about living in Fitzroy. I've lived in the bush now for 16 years, you couldn't pay me enough to go live in the city again.
I must be getting old man, that gathering you mentioned sounds like a good place to stay clear of lol.

Well, after 2 month in Melbourne, I'm still loving it.. including Fitzroy!
Before I spent 2 years in orange county, south california, and it was HELL! Nothing to see, nothing to do, nowhere to go... suburbs all over.... :-(

Think I'll enjoy my stay in Melbourne! Appartment is ok, job is ok, friends are ok, beer is ok... ok, now:sex

lol marcopolousa you think the beer is ok? are you crazy lol i dont like most aussie beers with the exception of stuff from tassie. While your down here i recommend you check out a bar in the city called e55 a very laid back bar with lots of couches and good music!

As far as suburbia goes Fitzroy is great.....but nothing beats country life. I'm currently living 60kms north of Melbourne, it's a good mix of both.

Thanks for the tip.. mate! ;-)
Yeah, I was talking about Tassie beer actually. And it's very easy to find a lot of foreign ones too, so I'm really fine. I'm working on visiting all Brunswick and Smith streets' places - a lot of work actully. I discovered a lot of cool place i CBD too. I like terrasses and hidden places, and Melbourne is good at that!
