Just moved to the Melbourne area in Central FL a couple months ago, and I have yet to make any friends here. Anyone around that might want to hang out at some point?

 

You're on the east coast and I'm on the west coast. Too far apart.

I'm hitch hiking threw Florida right now and am in Melbourne visiting until I feel the need to leave. I don't know how recent this post is, but if you would like to hang out with my friends and I, we would be more than happy!

Aw I haven't been on here much lately. I just saw this. Anyway, I don't live in Melbourne anymore. I'm back in South Florida. Near Fort Lauderdale now.

 

I read the title and thought pfft Melbourne isn't in California. Then I read it as Florida and it still didn't make any sense. So I google and what ya know. It's not just Australian at all.

Now I remember going to heavy metal concerts in Australia, I'm a NSW gal, so when they talk about Mel-borne.. we give them a big BOOOOOO!!! I always wonder if bands do that in other countries to work the crowd up. I don't really hear it in Europe. But in Australia, I think it's just ingrown to hate your neighboring state.
