Meeting Place

So where in your opinion is the best place to meet a significant other? And Im not talking a bar or whatever, i mean really meet a significant other. Where did you meet yours, or where do you meet compatible people?

 

I'm patiently waiting on my signigicant other right now. sigh...

 

I met my hubby through friends... it was one of those blind dates that really isn't a blind date but it kinda was....

 

work would be nice but if it is real, it doesn't matter where it starts

 

i think the best way is through a friend. unless you're in a situation like me where you have nothing in common with your 'friends', but other than that i think it's a great way.

I met the guy i'm going out with now through a friend. I think that's the best way cause you get to find out what they're like from your mutual friend.

 

^^ i agree. i also met my guy through some friends. that way you know a bit about them before you meet them, and you have lots of connections already through mutual relationships.

I met my last ex and my current girlfriend on the internet. My ex was in a different state when I met her online, and I moved to be with her. After about six years, the romance died, but we're good friends now. The girlfriend I have now actually lives in the same city I'm in.

 

Agree with AshtonsMom, I'm also waiting for that certain someone....But, I guess, the best way for meeting him would be through friends, or at the school\work....I'm not sure about meeting people online, although my sister found her present boyfriend there and they're together for 2 years now....

 

I don't really go out and meet new people very often, but I guess I do it the most at school or at concerts.

 

I've me SO's online, at bars, at work, at school, pretty much everyway possible, well that's an exageration, but its seems that way. My current I met through a mutual friend and so far, its working out to be the best relationship I've ever had.
